DOCTORAL COLLOQUIUM – GSSI 2027 

The GSSI 2027 Doctoral Colloquium is designed to support doctoral students pursuing research in professional selling, sales management, sales education, and related disciplines. Taking place immediately before the main conference, the colloquium provides a unique opportunity for emerging scholars to strengthen their research, receive personalized feedback from experienced faculty members, and build meaningful connections within the international sales research community.

The Doctoral Colloquium aims to foster academic development through research discussions, methodological insights, mentoring opportunities, and interactions with fellow doctoral students from around the world.

Preliminary Program :

May 31, 2027 

  • Methodological Workshop on “Theorizing in Business Research”

    • Interactive discussions on research design, theory development, and academic publishing
    • Opportunity to engage with senior scholars and researchers

June 1, 2027

Doctoral Colloquium Sessions

  • Academic discussions and mentoring sessions
  • Research development workshops
  • Networking opportunities with faculty and fellow doctoral students
  • Guidance on dissertation projects, publication strategies, and career development

June 2, 2027 (Morning)

Doctoral Research Presentations

  • Presentation of doctoral research projects

Registration

Doctoral students interested in participating in the Doctoral Colloquium are invited to indicate their interest in the dedicated registration section of the conference registration form.

Participants may choose between:

  • Doctoral Colloquium Only (including the pre-conference doctoral activities on May 31, June 1, and the doctoral presentations on the morning of June 2)
  • Full Package (including both the Doctoral Colloquium and the GSSI 2027 Conference)
  • GSSI 2027 Conference Only (for doctoral students who wish to attend the conference without participating in the Doctoral Colloquium)
