The Casablanca Climate Leadership Forum (CCLF) 2025
The Casablanca Climate Leadership Forum (CCLF) 2025, organized by ESCA Ecole de Management under the Business Schools for Climate Leadership Africa (BS4CL) initiative, serves as a key platform for advancing climate resilience and sustainable development in Africa. The forum brings together researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders to explore innovative solutions for achieving low-carbon economies while fostering inclusive and sustainable growth.
The 2025 edition will unfold over two days:
On November 20, the Scientific Day, the forum will focus on “Advancing Climate Resilience and Sustainable Development: Academic Pathways to Decarbonization.” This day will feature peer-reviewed research across six tracks covering energy and industry transitions, governance, circularity, socio-economic impacts, climate-smart innovation, and resilient cities. It will also host a climate-literacy workshop designed to introduce non-specialists to the fundamentals of climate science and risk insights, as well as a cross-sector partnerships workshop that highlights innovative collaboration models capable of accelerating collective climate action.
On November 21, the Stakeholders’ Forum Day, the discussions will shift toward practice under the theme “Climate Leadership in Action: Driving Industrial Decarbonization, Enabling Support Systems, and Mobilizing Collective Action.” The opening session and keynote will set the tone by addressing green industry, enabling ecosystems, and inclusive approaches to climate action. This will be followed by three high-level panels: the first dedicated to building competitive, decarbonized industries through clean energy and innovation; the second focused on regulatory, financial, and technical mechanisms to support Africa’s transition; and the third exploring collective and inclusive actions for a sustainable future.
By bridging rigorous academic research and actionable policy and business strategies, CCLF 2025 aims to transform knowledge into impact and position Africa as a driving force in the global climate transition.
